Sherry Dubash

Hello, my name is Sheherezad (Sherry) Dubash and I am a board certified physical therapist in the state of New York. I started my physical therapy career in 2011 after graduating from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and prior to that receiving a bachelors from Rutgers University, specializing in Exercise Science and Nutrition in 2008.

Having worked in previous physical therapy clinics that were overcrowded and double booked with patients, I noticed the quality of care was severely compromised. Patients took longer to get better and achieve their goals because not enough focused one-on-one time was available. I am a PT that values quality over quantity, targeted yet holistic treatment and prevention after recovery.  Having adopted the one-on-one office based PT model—there is a striking increase in quicker recovery time, a decrease in re-injury and excellent compliance due to convenience.

I believe it is my responsibility to myself and my patients to partake in continuing education as a clinician. I have received further training as a Registered Yoga Teacher (200-RYT) from Bright Spirit Yoga in 2015, a Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner ® in 2013, and a Level I Reiki practitioner in 2013.  My passion is working exclusively with musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries using a creative approach

— incorporating manual therapy techniques, yoga principles, and Kinesiotaping ®.

The integration of yoga into my professional and personal practice has changed my life in more ways than I expected. The focus of my classes are to bring about organic movement with slow and careful attention to breath and alignment; music is atmospheric. I appreciate everyone’s unique motivation to practice yoga and can help create a supportive environment to help discover the vast benefits it offers.

When I am not working, I like to run, travel, try out new recipes, spend time with family and friends or go for a hike with my pup!

Marie Pauline Mendoza

Pelvic Health & Prenatal/Postpartum Specialization

Hi everyone, my name is Marie Pauline (Pauline) Mendoza. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in pelvic health rehabilitation, birth preparation, and postpartum care.

I interweave my solid orthopedic background with my specialization in pelvic physical therapy to address various conditions of the pelvic floor. I pride myself on providing a positive therapeutic experience by educating and helping patients to feel comfortable with my treatment techniques. Pregnancy is a beautiful, life-changing event that requires education and preparation. And I have made it my mission to help all moms receive individualized care for their pelvic health no matter what stage they are in their motherhood journey. I also recognize that pelvic floor conditions are often undiagnosed, relatively difficult to treat, and can tremendously impact a person’s life. I am dedicated and determined to bring these conditions to light and offer a holistic approach to addressing them.

I obtained my Doctorate Degree from Arcadia University and received advanced pelvic health training (Pelvic Health Level 1-3) through the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy. Currently in my final steps to receive my Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Health (CAPP - Pelvic) from APTA Pelvic Health and working on my PRPC (Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification) title from Herman & Wallace. I have also attended an intensive 12-week Pregnancy and Postpartum MasterCourse from New England Pelvic Doc Collective.

In my free time, I enjoy spending it with my fur baby, traveling, doing hot yoga, attending more pelvic health courses and reading.

Brian Kim

Orthopedic/Sports Injury Physical Therapist

I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in orthopedic care and sports medicine.

I have experience in rehabilitating acute to chronic post musculoskeletal surgery, strength and conditioning athletes and military service members, and have extensive experience as a personal trainer. I like to use a combination of hands on therapy and integrating strength and optimal movement strategies to help heal the soft tissue and joints to get back to moving pain-free.

My pursuit for health and fitness started with martial arts since I was 7, and continued during the time I was in the United States Marine Corps, as a personal trainer and strength coach, and now as a Physical Therapist to understand the continuum of care from  acute care all the way through being sports-ready.

My hobbies include running, swimming, weight-training, and mixed martial arts.
